So many sequins!

I really wanted to tag along for the girls first dance!   We had so much fun the night before doing our nails, a face mask and a pedicure.  I did their hair and a little make-up on the day of the dance and as they were putting on their fancy dresses I really wanted to go with them.   I felt like Cinderella, but my Fairy God Mother didn't show up!

The girls were relieved to see that Sean put on a suit and tie as he kept telling them all week he was going to wear his swimsuit.   The girls had so much fun!  Courtney said it was 'one of the best nights of her life'.  She danced the entire night with her sister and friends from school.  Hayley and Courtney   both slow danced with Sean.   Courtney told me every detail about the evening.  She sounded shocked that Sean didn't embarrass her especially when some of the other Dads were attempting Gangham Style type dance moves.    Even though I didn't get to go I felt so blessed as they were all laughing and telling me stories about the event.   It made me appreciate the bond that the girls have with their dad and how they know how much he loves them.

Game Day

Carter had to wear a shirt and tie to school for every home baseball game this season.  This is the only picture I could snap of him before he bolted out the door everyday.   It was so nice to see him dress up.  The ironing that went along with it not so nice!

Did you know.....

If you purchase a balloon at Disney World and it pops during the rest of your visit you can give the vendor your balloon ribbon and they will let you pick a new balloon.   True story.

Here Comes the Bride.....

While on our recent Girls Only Disney trip Courtney posed outside the Wedding Pavilion. She immediately started planning her upcoming (hopefully at least 20 years from now) nuptials.  We emailed this picture to her Dad and he immediately responded with a phone call and some choice words for Courtney that had her giggling.  We sure know how to get him fired up!

Hayley Turns 6

Welcome to Hayley's Candy Shop & Bakery!  This was such a fun theme and Hayley helped with all the details & decorating. She is quite the party planner. She is an amazing young lady & I am lucky that I still get to spend a few days a week with her. Next year she will be in school full time & I will miss having her home with me

Halloween Costumes

Hayley was dressed as Lela from Teen Beach Movie  We tried to duplicate the costume as best as we could, but no way was she wearing those short shorts!

Courtney was an easy costume.  She made a great Hermione.

The weather for trick or treat night was the worst it has ever been.  The girls were soaked by the time they came home, but its all in the name of candy, so they suffered through the cold and rain.  Yes, I know it is January 2014, but I am playing catch up with some of the cute pictures I have taken on my phone
